🌟 Welcome to The Bend Girls: Our Wild, Beautiful Life in Bend
Hi there, and welcome to The Bend Girls — we’re so happy you’re here!
We’re a family of five (+ one amazing Gran-nannie!) living life loud, busy, and joyfully in the stunning mountain town of Bend, Oregon. If you’re into real-life parenting chaos, snow days, dance recitals, weekend adventures, and the occasional skincare tip — you’re in the right place.
👨👩👧👧 Meet the Crew
Taylor (Mom) – Hi! I’m a nurse practitioner in aesthetics, passionate about skincare, wellness, and balancing a career with raising three energetic girls. I’m usually found in leggings, juggling clinic days and dance bags at night, and always ready to share a favorite a product or a quick beauty tip. My goal with creating this site and blog is to help others like me who need solid product suggestions not only for their skin but also for their kids (or husbands) and how I manage my crazy busy world.
Matt (Dad) – Our construction guy by day, DIYer by night, and always working on some kind of home project. He’s the calm in the storm (unless you wake him up too early). He loves all of his girls and has found that solid balance between work and home life. I can always count on him as the mid-week Uber driver if gram is busy.
Sookie – Our oldest. Thoughtful, graceful, and a total dance queen. She’s the one who teaches her sisters the moves and keeps the peace. She is definitely the first child always wanting to be the best, never get in trouble, and always gives her all. She is always the first one to give in to her little sisters.
Opal – Our spark plug. Bold, funny, full of ideas and sass. She’s always up to something creative or getting into trouble! I have never met a kid as messy as she is but you can always count on her to chew with her mouth closed!
Olive – The youngest and wildest. Strong opinions, loud giggles, and a whole lot of personality in one tiny package. Do not piss her off because guaranteed she will WWE you. She is always willing to try something once but if she doesn’t like it you can be sure she will not do it again!
Gran-nannie – The glue that holds us together. She shows up with snacks, wisdom, and a magical ability to make all things better…except bedtime (that is not her strong suite). She is also known as the “bag-lady” because I can promise you she will have at least 3 bags with her at all times. She picks up, drops off, cooks, laundry, and above all loves these babes with all her heart.

We wanted a place to capture the real moments — the magical ones, the messy ones, and everything in between. From snowy ski days to dance competitions, birthday chaos to late-night Target runs, we’re sharing it all.
